I think I'm seeing the running theme that will develop into the final revelationary plot/climax thing. So far, there has only been brendanlee and Yuki onscreen. And they aren't onscreen for very long, at least compared to, some other thing. This originally leads to the idea of a romantic interest, with the super-flattery and all (I can only assume, since I don't know Japanese.) (I'm probably missing a big joke there, too.) yet then we learn that brendanlee is at least a little underpaid by Yuki, presenting a loose end to be tied up in the sequel.

yet then the sequel doesn't mention it at all. He just tries to talk to people that go by, and fails. He mentions either a "constant fear of rejection" or a "constant feel of rejection," and I can't tell which, because the sound is not good. Then he tries some crazy math shit about rejections cancelling because everyone feels rejection and setting up some kind of experiment to find out if that's true or something. I don't know.

Anyway, please clarify, and forgive me if I got a couple of those things wrong.
